Lovely food great room Could do with blinds on the door but what a quiet place

We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. But the owner arrived soon and everything was great! The restaurant is very unique with lots of antiques, and the food was fabulous! Breakfast was made to order and fabulous!! I highly recommend!

We were a bit disappointed this time, as the boiler was not working. The bathroom floor was dirty, lamp shades to. The cooker was greasy and the flames were yellow. We didn't get any shower gel or shampoo . By from that we had a lovely "getting sunburnt

Staff were friendly who we saw. Very limited parking even street parking is limited due to permits needed. No breakfast even though it stated breakfast. Rooms could do with an update. Bar area is nice to have a drink and can imagine in the summer would be a great place

Very clean room, friendly staff. The room i booked was a king-size bed but it was more a double size and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The room itself was clean but could do with a freshen up. The bathroom was adequate, the basin was very small with a glass shelf immediately above which was hard when cleaning your teeth. I would stay again, but not at the price I had paid £100 for 1 night plus another £14 for breakfast.

Fabulous rural location for a peaceful stay. Amazing breakfast Highly recommend
