It was perfect for the purpose of our trip of the Silverstone race, a bit far to the Milton Keynes station but everything in the hotel was perfect

Lovely clean room in a fabulous location with beautiful cafes and mini supermarkets nearby. Two double beds accommodated our family of 4 well (kids aged 12 and 14). Baker st station nearby and we loved the beautiful fresh breakfast cooked à la cart daily. Highly recommend.

No real complaints. just some observations which would make a difference. A few issues like having to constantly ask them for access codes . No mirror in the bedrooms to be able to dry my hair . The only mirror was in the bathroom which does not have a suitable safe outlet for a hairdryer. safe did. it work There were no safety grab rails in the bath shower and no safety mat to stand on in the bath whilst showering The location was excellent and the Corker taxi company were very good We enjoyed having the lovely park opposite for walking.

So only thing holding on me giving it 5 stars was the hit and miss shower. However, the place was spotless and would we go back … most definitely if we needed somewhere to stop that end of London. Plenty of shops bars and restaurants locally, highly recommended cocktail bar up the road. And just a short tube ride from London Stadium and Westfield shopping.

The room itself was great, with adequate parking. The problem with the room, as is the case for most budget hotels in the UK is that there was no AC, and in the hottest day of the year, even with the fan, the room didn’t drop below 36 degrees - all night.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I booked a one-night stay months in advance expecting a smooth check-in. My booking confirmation stated that my check-in instructions and access code would be sent within 24 hours before arrival. They never arrived before check-in and were only sent after the advertised check-in time, leaving me unable to access the property. I repeatedly tried calling but received no answer. With no way to enter the accommodation and no support available, I was left stranded in London and had to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. To make matters worse, the access details were sent the day after my booking had already ended, making them completely useless. I then received a message asking how my stay was, despite never being able to check in. After this experience, I read other reviews and found similar complaints from other guests, suggesting this is not an isolated incident. I paid for accommodation that was never made available to me and expect a full refund. I would not recommend staying here.

Great location, but a very small room with minimal amenities but it was a massive plus to have a room with a private bathroom.

The Chatsworth Hotel, Eastbourne, is marketed as a 5-star hotel, but my experience fell far short of that standard. In my view, even a 3-star rating would be difficult to justify based on the room quality, facilities, and service I received. At over £200 per night, I expected a comfortable room and attentive service. Instead, I was given a very basic room with only a partial sea view. There was no minibar, no slippers, and the shower had visible stains. These are not the standards most guests would associate with a luxury hotel. The service was even more disappointing. Multiple calls to the front desk went unanswered, and despite this, no one called back to check whether I still needed assistance. That level of indifference is unacceptable, particularly for a hotel charging premium rates. I’ve stayed in hotels around the world, ranging from budget accommodation to genuine luxury properties, and this was, without question, the most disappointing hotel experience I have had. The price simply does not reflect the quality of the accommodation or the service provided. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone expecting a true 5-star experience.
