night clerks were very cheerful and friendly, offered several bits of info about places to eat and how to use the coffee pot.. BIG smiles which is wonderful after a 9 hour drive. Even racing to breakfast with only a few minutes before closing, staff was kind and helped us. AND most important BED was comfy.

This is a beautiful hotel, close to the river and all down town has to offer. The parking during the weekend isn’t a problem, we were able to park free on the street less than a block from our hotel. Valet parking and pay parking is of course available. Breakfast is excellent. Beds are super comfortable. Best smell in the air, and the most friendly staff one could ask for

Baton Rouge- We had a hiccup with our reservation, but Brittany, the individual handling the front desk, never walked away from us. She made absolutely sure we had what we needed and didn't let go until we were settled into a room. Thank you, Brittany!

TRU was very clean and staff was great. The breakfast options were not that great compared to other hotels/competitors that offer the same breakfast as part of the stay.
