Clean basic room did what it said on the tin and what we needed it for. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good pub grub.

Outside area was filthy. Garden full of weeds The wooden table was missing pieces. The gas barbecue was not there as advertised. Pictures make it look much nicer than it is. My family were very disappointed. They have an electric car charger which is very expensive also.

No disabled parking, Don’t bother arriving before 15:00 as you will be told that your room is not ready, then at 15:00 you will be in a queue for a room as they are air ready. Breakfast room is too small so you may have a distance to walk carrying your breakfast.

Stayed overnight and it was in a quiet neighbourhood with shops close by. Clean and tidy place with lots of amenities

Very pleasant and peaceful location, overlooking countryside. Large grounds with a public footpath to the village or the Thames and lakes nearby. All of the staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Good base for visiting National Trust and Historic Houses properties. Booking with hotels.com included breakfast. I would have liked to have had a package which included dinner. A fridge in the large superior room would have been nice since the cold water tap rarely gave anything near cold but the bar staff kindly filled my water bottles. Nice comfortable king-size bed and great view from the window, albeit with the swimming pool skylight outside.
