Don’t let the website fool you! The location is completely deceiving. The photos make it look like a tranquil getaway, but it is literally on the highway. The only thing separating the hotel(motel) from the highway is a narrow strip of sidewalk. You have to enter your room directly from the parking lot, not the cute charming courtyard shown on the website. There is an additional door on the inside of the room that leads to the courtyard. The room smelled like fish. The decor was cheap and tacky, not whimsical as shown on the website. The back parking lot shares a parking lot with Mico Hotel. This is a 2 star maybe 3 star hotel at best. When I complained to the manager of my disappointment of location being located on the highway his response was don’t you have google earth- that’s why I am writing this review. I stayed here because of the reviews. Please see pictures I have attached- don’t stay here!

My room had Some lingering order.

Overall, my experience with Cavalry Court was good. I would probably stay there again, but there are definitely some customer service areas that need work. There was no help with luggage. Directions to the room had me hauling my suitcase all over the property. The room temperature was a bit on the warm side, and although we tried adjusting the thermostat it didn't help. Our second night in there was a roach crawling on the wall above the bed. When we notified the front desk, we were given to option to change rooms if we came down to the lobby. When I explained that we were all in our pajamas no other option was given- stay in a room with a roach or come to the lobby to get a new room. We eventually called back to the front desk and said that we wanted a new room, but that we would not come to the lobby. A new room key arrived! The new room we were given had a fabulous treasure chest full of tempting snacks- not sure why this was missing from the first room. The room temperature in the new room was warm, as well. The bar service was excellent as well as the Saturday entertainment by the swimming pool.

Pool was green with scum. Could not take advantage of it and my kids were disappointed. The rooms needed updating - take the carpet off! Will look cleaner that way.

Only stayed one night but everything was great.
