This was a good location for someone transferring from the train to the ferry on its way to Shetland. The hotel was within easy walking distance of the train terminal and the ferry terminal. I found the hotel lobby to be empty and a bit sad looking, as if the hotel had seen better days. My welcome by the staff was friendly and helpful. My assigned room was clean, secure, and relatively quiet. Large bathroom, comfortable room.

Everything about the hotel was good, very pet friendly and also caters well for people requiring accessibility. Except in the food area, breakfast was t too bad for someone like myself who requires a soft diet however if evening meals were required there was nothing available for this kind of diet.especially if the guest wanted to stay in. Other than this the Hotel was good.

Amazing breakfast, lovely people, everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay again.
