Air conditioner didn’t work well, left on 65 and still didn’t get room cool. Staff crowded around breakfast area and front desk every morning, having loud conversations that would have been better suited for an internal break room. They outnumbered the guests trying to get food at the breakfast bar.

THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY... WE STAYED THERE ON THE WAY TO NC AND DECIDED TO STAY ON THE WAY BACK FROM NC... I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE 1842 INN!!

Our room had a very high humidity, from the carpet to linens were damp and musty. Breakfast was not the usual quality.

We stayed here on our way to Florida over the 4th of July week. After a long stressful drive we were greeted by a super friendly and helpful front desk clerk by the name of Gabby she made our check in quick and easy. The breakfast was great and Mary the worker that was attending the breakfast area kept everything well stocked and was extremely friendly! It was our first time staying at a Laquinta and we will definitely stay again.

Janice that checked is in was absolutely horrendous! She talked to us like we were children and was very condescending. When we checked in, she asked how she could help us and we told her we were checking in. Then she continued to stare at us for a couple of minutes in silence until we said our name and then proceeded to say “there we go was that so hard we should’ve started there” and then go on about how she’s not a mind reader. But she never asked us for our name we thought she was finishing up something she was already working on.
