While we found the staff to be friendly and helpful, the problem with the hotel is the location. It is right next to the bus station, and on a busy street (S. Delaware) that has LOUD cars and motorcycles racing by at all hours of the night. In addition, there is a lot of homeless people around the building. There is an abandoned building across the street on E. Washington and a number of homeless hang out there. We also saw a guy on drugs bent over and just standing there in a daze. I realize that the hotel can't do much about it, but I wouldn't stay there again. Rooms were also very cramped.

This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I've had. We booked this hotel for its downtown location and walkability, but ongoing construction completely ruined the experience. The construction noise was extremely loud, there was essentially only one way in and out on foot, and traveling with young children made it even worse because they were very sensitive to the constant noise. The only walking route was unpleasant, with homeless individuals nearby and a strong smell of urine. This was not the downtown experience we paid for. What frustrated me most was the hotel's response. After I complained, I was told management would review my case and call me. They never did. I had to follow up multiple times, and the only response I received was what appeared to be an AI-generated text instead of a real person addressing my concerns. It was insulting and made it clear they didn't care. I understand the hotel didn't cause the construction, but they did choose to ignore legitimate guest concerns. No accountability, no meaningful communication, and no effort to make things right. I would not stay here again and would strongly recommend choosing another hotel.
