Encampment Vacation Packages

I was somewhat concerned there was no onsite front desk/staff available but this proved to be a non-issue. The key code was expected to arrive via email the day before our arrival but was sent the day after the reservation was made which was 5 days before arrival I believe it was. They did follow-up with 2 emails after we received the key code with contact information to use if the code had not been received. Our room was very clean, in-room coffee was available, the bed was comfortable, the price was well worth it. It appeared our room was recently completely remodeled. Other rooms I had a glimpse into also appeared to have been remodeled. A microwave and fridge and a few other basics were provided. We weren't looking for a $180+/night room with all the extras. We like to visit local eating establishments so a free breakfast was not a requirement. We chose Walden because it's location worked well for us due to the drive time from our home and this was a good geographic location to continue our 5 day weekend in Colorado from. We wanted a place to overnight that had a clean room, clean bath/shower, and clean and comfortable bed. That's exactly what they provided. We hope to be staying here on our future trips through the area.
