My experience staying at the hotel has been excellent every time. The entire staff is friendly, professional and they deliver superior customer service. The rooms are always clean and neat. There’s only one thing that needs to change. The carpets that surround the bed and possibly are under the bed need to be replaced. They are worn out and old.

Everything was amazing, staff is always great and the location is perfect.

We were generally very pleased with our room, spacious, clean and well appointed. The beds were large and comfortable and the shower was probably the most powerful we have ever used Our room was situated next to the busy reception area and foyer – upon reflection we likely would have preferred a more distant room but ultimately we enjoyed a very pleasant stay. Simply by reason of the room’s location at ground and decorated with darker colours we could not always choose daylight and would have appreciated a brighter electric light option In fairness, the excellent Reception staff did regularly enquire if we were comfortable and indeed we were. In fact, we enjoyed genuinely friendly interaction with the Receptionists, notably Trina, whose helpful suggestions contributed towards our holiday plans We didn’t have opportunity to take advantage of all the hotel’s amenities, e.g. the fitness centre and swimming pool bit we certainly enjoyed a couple of nightcaps at Elsie’s Daughter and in the very comfortable outdoor seating area adjacent the quirky Caboose bar

When I first showed up it was a little hard to get into the building. There were several employees sitting inside at a lounge table. I told them I was just trying to find the front entrance as it seemed that it wasn't. She said I was at the correct entrance and would go get the guy that was running the front. The check-in desk had a roll down cage pulled down at all times so no attendant available without calling for assistance. The room I was in must have been over the top of a room that had mechanical pumps as the floor vibrated all night at the head of the bed, which was a little noisy. Rooms were extremely clean and the all of the property was extremely clean. Room came with a full size refrigerator and a cooktop stove that I wasn't going to use. The price was great but I think I'll spend an extra $30 next time and choose another place to stay. Trying to get in the building was a hassle and the lack of staff seemed a little concerning. If you don't mind those speed bumps the place was extremely clean and very quite, other than the room I was in. If by chance you forgot your phone and key to the room when you left your room, I am not sure how you would get back in as the lack of an attendant was off-putting to me.
