The room was fine for the price that I paid however you dont expect to go to your rooms bathroom and have to flush the toilet from a no2 that was obviously left from a previous occupant, Clearly the cleaning standards are not very good.

We booked two rooms. One was in the newer/refurbished part of the hotel and was of a noticeably higher standard though both rooms were the same price. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was very good and served in the light and airy restaurant. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. The room size was very good and everything worked. The lift was unusable so we were re-allocated a room on the ground floor. The food was excellent. We enjoyed a delicious evening meal, a fabulous high tea and two excellent breakfasts. All members of staff were very helpful and friendly.

Beautifully clean. We had an excellent evening meal and enjoyed the lounge and bar area too. Very friendly and welcoming place.
