Was in room 1301. The room is not suitable for guests. The elevator noises are non-stop (room is on top floor next to elevator shaft). I’m not talking about when the door opens/closes on the floor. Every single time the elevator is in use, the room is filled with noise. Had two terrible nights of sleep. Would not have stayed in the room if it were free. Was charged full price. Zero acknowledgment from anyone and was not given the opportunity to move. If noise issue is so harmless, give the room to someone else who is checking in. Sat for breakfast and waited for 10 minutes and no server came over. Had to leave. Will never set foot in this or any Conrad again and not in a hurry to give any business to Hilton.

I rented the apartment for a week long conference at Vanderbilt univ. and I shared it with a colleague. The apartment is on one of those soulless high rises that are sprouting in Nashville. The remote verification process was very tedious. I had to submit a scanned copy of my driver license and other sensitive information. I called Landing two days before my trip to ask whether the check-in information would be sent also to my colleague; they said yes, but she did not receive any instruction. The steps for retrieving the key and locating our apartment were clear and we had no problems there, but only one key was provided. In the apartment we found a Keurig machine, but no coffee, tea, or sugar. The next day we stepped into the office on the first floor of the building to ask for coffee and another key but we were told that they have no connection with Landing and could not help us. I received a “welcome “ text, with a number for emergencies; when I texted asking for another key and basic supplies, I did not get any reply. My colleague and I had to cope with our single key for the whole week. The checkout process was troublesome and we couldn’t figure out how to return the key. We left it in the apartment, with fingers crossed. Luckily, when I reported the problem via text, I got a reply that confirmed that the key had been found. The place was nice and we had a good stay altogether, but it could’ve been made smoother with little effort from Landing

So to preface, we travel multiple times per year to Nashville. This is a nicer hotel, so I tend to expect more for the price. The Kimpton Aertson is a beautiful property in an excellent location. The décor is gorgeous, and we really enjoyed the complimentary happy hour. The valet attendants and young men working outside were absolutely wonderful; so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A special thank-you also goes to the kind woman who stored our luggage when we arrived. There were so many cars that I couldn’t even get out near the entrance, but she went out of her way to help us even though we weren’t parking at the hotel. Unfortunately, the service inside the hotel was inconsistent. The young woman who checked me out was not friendly, & I had similar experiences with a couple of employees during happy hour. I was also disappointed to discover an additional destination or amenity fee. I booked through Hotels.com, so the lack of clarity may have been more of a Hotels.com issue. However, after reading more about the fee, it appeared that certain benefits or credits were included in return. No one at the front desk ever explained the fee or told us how to use those benefits, which made the charge especially frustrating. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with a terrific location.
