Disappointed in this stay. We requested a twin room setup, which was confirmed by the property, but when we arrived, the beds were made up as one bed. There was no soap in the bathroom to wash our hands, so we had to go back to the main guest house to request the complimentary toiletries that the description and check-in guide indicated would be provided for the bathroom. There was only one outlet next to the bed. There was another outlet across from the bed being used by the kettle. Another outlet was under the mirror across from the bed. We left our towels on the bathroom floor to receive new ones as the sign in the bathroom instructed. However, when we returned to our room after a long day traveling around Skye, our towels were still on the floor. There was a sign on the back of the main room door that said we should put a sign on our door to have received a freshen up, but there was no sign in our room for the purpose. We had to go back to the main guest house to request towels from the on-call staff (available until 9:30 p.m.) by phone.

We stay at the Cluanie Inn quite often as it is a handy stop off before taking the ferry to the Western Isles. It is always excellent. Really friendly and helpful staff, a good menu, especially the Indian food and the rooms are beautifully maintained and a good size, which is great if you have a big Labrador. Midge the Labrador loves the Cluanie Inn. We have stayed at all of the Black Sheep hotels, and I can't speak highly enough of them.

One small elevator was a little inconvenient but that was it

The property is well-maintained. The staff were very helpful. We enjoyed authentic Northern Indian cuisine. There are multiple walking paths close by. I wish we had more time to explore.

This is a true luxury spa hotel. Great location, great facilities, health club across the parking lot. I had a large room in the older part of the hotel and it was very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely superb and the bed was very comfortable. This would be a great place for more than a one-night stay!

Several heads down staff were anything but helpful. Older woman at checkin was unhelpful and heads down most of the time . Sad to see this historically friendly hotel now staffed by a number of very unimpressive people. Older women at dinner and younger professional woman at breakfast being the exception.
