One of the beds had dirty sheets, smelled awful. Most of the electrical outlets weren’t working, so it was a bit difficult to charge devices. The room was just rundown.

Might as well have pitched a tent beside the interstate! That’s hyperbole, of course, but the ceaseless traffic noise was overwhelming and nearly unbearable. Notably, there are two buildings and perhaps the noise is significantly less disturbing in the building less close to I-5. I don’t have any other serious complaints. Check-in after my 1am arrival was smooth enough (although a different room assignment might have made for a better experience), the room was tidy, clean, comfortable, and pleasant for the price-point, and parking was straightforward. If I were dead set upon staying in Buttonwillow (vs Bakersfield) again, I’d probably choose a property situated farther from the highway, or at least request a room with less highway exposure.

Corner room on the 4th floor was decent. Reception was polite but insincere. We skipped the restaurant which looked packed and noisy at 6 pm. Valet was fine. Expensive hotel trying to be upscale, but the service did not reflect upscale.

Esta en muy buenas condiciones el cuarto. Renovado.
