On arrival had to give credit card details in full rather than swipe as there had been drig users there before us and they had to remove needles most frightening experience wondered wheee I was staying. TV did not work and blind was poorly fitted. Towel had yellow slime on it and bed was very uncomfortable. . Bath had mold around the edge.

Sarah is a great host, the location is brilliant, very central to the village. Breakfast is amazing. Expedia messed up the booking but Sarah did not let us down and sorted everything for us so we had a great stay. Food in the local pub is great!

We booked this accommodation as the reviews were very positive! But just a few days prior to our holiday we saw a review that said this property was sold and presently empty! Contacted the owner email/phone, no response. Contacted Expedia, finally got through to talk to a representative..but just said they would contact us 24hrs prior if the booking was cancelled! The owner finally rang us the day before our trip and confirmed our booking ..but not at the accommodation we originally booked! On arrival at a nearby car park we rang the owner 4 times but she didn’t answer ! We got the address from the local public house and made our way there. The room was pleasant very boutique and the bathroom was beautiful and very clean. But it was not what we booked a room with a sea view ! This advertised property should be taken off Expedia as it is closed ! Apparently the owner has had problems with Expedia and another review said they had contacted them too !

Agree entirely with a previous review. Not an hotel, just a B&B with bar and a very limited menu. The proprietess wanted to talk at us. The son, considerably older than 21, came up to us in the bar and said his mother would be with us soon to serve us drinks. Clearly he was not authorized to. Why? So we waited another 5 --10 mins for her to appear. No hot water in room - neither shower nor wash basin. Reactions were "we know one of the hot water timers is faulty, but it's nearly time for annual maintenance" and "we have plenty of hot water in the kitchens" !. Was I supposed to shower in the kitchens? No compensation or apology was offered on checkout. Beware very daunting steep narrow staircase to all the rooms. The very same son did take our bags upstairs on arrival, but was nowhere to be seen on departure. The corner shower was very cramped, but the doors only opened halfway so it was difficult to squeeze in, I am not very large 5ft9 and 13st. There was no bath mat to step out on nor soap. Only a wall mounted shower gel dispenser in the shower. We shall not go back even though the beds were comfortable, and a reasonable hospitality tray and kettle on the dressing table which just reached the power point.
