Old, dirty, has a horrible smell

There was no elevator so we had to drag our luggage up the stairs. The room was ok, we felt like we were about to fall through the floor when stepping into the shower. The breakfast was lacking. Waffles and cereal.

I loved the hotel and the property - so beautiful and layout was attractive and very inviting; loved the night of music under the canopy, fire pit by the lake, etc. Enjoyed being at the public lake and on the paths. Our only downside was the check in that took over an hour - had nothing to do with the hotel or staff - since that was all great! EXPEDIA messed up our reservation even though I had confirmation etc......and hotel did not have our room reserved. It was a nightmare because of Expedia. It really put our start to our much awaited stay in a bad way especially since I had my husband who was not medically well with me waiting.

Everything about this room was amazing

This hotel offers great value for the price\. Everything was clean, and the facilities looked quite new and well maintained\. The breakfast was also very good and had several options\. The omelets were refrigerated and heated in the microwave, which was a little unusual, but they were actually delicious\. We also enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches\. The staff member on duty was extremely kind and attentive\. They made sure to restock everything we needed for breakfast and were very helpful throughout our stay\. We also forgot our toothbrush, and they kindly provided us with one, which we really appreciated\. Overall, everything was great, and we had a very pleasant stay\.

This property was a 10 out of 10 for us. If you get to stay here you will love it! We were in town for a friend’s wedding and were lucky enough to book a room here. Valerie and Jason were amazing hosts, the breakfasts were delightful and the entire home was beautiful and cozy. Our hosts gave us great suggestions on places to eat and wineries to visit. Canandaigua in the summer was stunning. We both hope to return and stay again!

Room was visibly clean, but there was a dank, musty smell in the room. Kept the AC on to freshen up the air, but it did not make much of a difference. Staff was nice and the restaurant was ok for burgers and s quesadillas.
