Clean rooms. Staff was amazing.

The ‘hotel’ is undergoing renovations and nearly impossible to find—there is no signage from the road and again with unnumbered rooms. Renovations or no, the room was filthy— literal trash leftover from the previous guest on the floor. Keep it moving.

I liked the location, close to casino. The room had a molded smell and the bathroom bathtub dripped the whole time

Check-in was easy, the caretaker was right there to hand over the key, and gave us a brief history of the plantation, which has been around since the 1820s! The air conditioning worked very well and that's a blessing since we visited in August. Husband and I explored and walked the property more than once, trying to imagine it in its different eras. My only issue was the breakfast sandwich in the freezer, which was a solid block of ice. Maybe, put the sandwiches in the freezer the day before guests arrive...
