I always enjoy staying at the Big Texan and having dinner at the restaurant. My only complaint is the shower head was very nice but not water efficient. I am surprised a motel of 54 separate rooms don't use reduce water shower heads.

Not what I expected at all dated and dirty

Atrea is always the best bang for your buck for a quick stay. Danielle was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to accommodate us on ur last minute trip into town for a funeral

Parking with a trailer was very easy and the refrigerator was a good size and worked well. The desk clerk was kind and helpful when we arrived super late & we had an easy check-in. There was a bit of a musty smell that is present at any hotel with inexpensive rooms, and the room was REALLY INEXPENSIVE for a last minute booking. It would not have been my first choice otherwise, but it was a fairly painless stay considering the price, so I was pleasantly surprised and I slept well. The breakfast was weak, but we took the opportunity to indulge in a nearby buc-ees breakfast, which also was inexpensive and surprisingly enjoyable.
