There were a lot of mosquitoes in my room. While the hotel was very nice and clean, I’ve left quite itchy.

The rooms in the apartments side of Melia White House are outdated, but everything worked for my needs and the room was comfortable. I was there during a heatwave and the AC was a godsend. The rest of the hotel is very nice and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay went well, including calling a cab for us to the airport because we had a lot of luggage and were running late. We got the breakfast which was one of the best breakfasts I had in a hotel, and having the pantry available 24/7 was very helpful. Melia is also in a great location, close to several Underground stops which was very convienient and several resteraunts/grocery stores near by.

It was all great until my room flooded, and although I was moved rooms and told I was upgraded (no difference in the room other than having a worse view), I wasn’t even provided a discount on my stay for the inconvenience of having to move rooms in the middle of the night. Also had a coworker who go stuck in the elevator. Otherwise- the breakfast buffet was amazing.
