The suite was very clean. The beds all appeared VERY new... possibly from Amazon.. & they were EXTRA FIRM. The fridge and stove top were a plus, but there are no utensils, cookware, plates, etc. The staff was friendly enough... I felt rushed to sign everything at check-in. I understand the desire for a swift experience, but there's a fine line between that & hurrying up to get me out of your hair. It was hard to catch someone at the desk--we saw the window closed more than open. We requested a couple of extra towels as there were 3 women in our group & they needed one for their hair. That was a no go. They only gave towels if we brought them the existing ones. There were no hand towels. The location was a bit secluded which was nice in Cleveland and easily accessible. We might consider staying here again for the price & cleanliness, but we'd bring our kitchen supplies & extra towels.

So one thing that was not shown in pictures was that the room did not have a working air conditioning. They used a floor unit that had condensation that had to be emptied every 3 hours to work. An alarm would go off to warn you. At night. Sleep was terrible. I had to wheel the unit into the bathroom to empty it out. When I brought this up to the manager he just said that it had to be emptied out every time it was full of water. He said he would be happy to come do so. I told him that was not necessary as my wife was using the shower. I would not stay here. The check in process was awful. Their computer system was down so at check-in I was charged for 2 nights that had been prepaid. And when I pointed it out the staff member got really unsettled and had me talk to her manager on the phone. Room was not ready when we got in. There was trash in the trash cans. On the second day I asked why my room was not serviced when I returned after being out all day. The same staff said in a very condescending matter of fact way that they did not service rooms unless it was requested. The only sign I saw said that we needed to put a little sign on our bed if we wanted the bedding changed. But they never in came in to our room. Staff was very unhelpful. The pictures made the to hotel seem like a beautiful vintage hotel. It was nicely decorated but I would not stay here. Not having working AC and very inhospitable front staff made our anniversary getaway terrible

The rooms were large and we had two bedrooms and two baths. It had a beautiful new kitchen. The spaces were large. The hotel was across the street from the restaurant where we had a reservation for dinner. The Peet's coffee and desert which were in the lobby had excellent coffee and pastries. We plan to stay at Hotel Clemons when we return to Chattanooga in November.
