Initial room had a stale smell and had obviously never been updated since built, told clerk we were disappointed and he eventually upgraded us to a ‘deluxe room’. Definitely newer and smelled better. However, when we went to cook breakfast discovered kitchenette was extremely ill stocked lacking a frying pan, dish towel, oven mitts, pretty much any cooking utensils required for the most basic meal. Phoned front desk for a frying pan twice, fellow finally showed up with a 6” pan after 75 minutes saying he had just got the message. Well, at least the bed and pillows were comfortable, it’s a great location and the pool, hot tub and gym were nice (apparently this is where all the remodeling money went). In terms of the room the 70s will be relieved some things never change…

Hiccups with room dining, and navigating the hallways was tricky. Lobby area nice, but hallways and fitness area felt outdated. No sign anywhere identifying the building, hard to find. Also not a double tree??

good

Parking and shops nearby was convenient
