We stay at the Cluanie Inn quite often as it is a handy stop off before taking the ferry to the Western Isles. It is always excellent. Really friendly and helpful staff, a good menu, especially the Indian food and the rooms are beautifully maintained and a good size, which is great if you have a big Labrador. Midge the Labrador loves the Cluanie Inn. We have stayed at all of the Black Sheep hotels, and I can't speak highly enough of them.

It was a challenge to get in contact with the host to get checkin instructions. We had to place an international call as they claim they could not communicate via Hotels.com. Everyone else I dealt with could. Parking was ok once we got into the unit and got the parking permit. Great location as restaurants shopping and sight seeing were all walkable.

Seemed silly that the chair for the desk did not hold its height adjustment and would slip gradually down to lowest level.

One small elevator was a little inconvenient but that was it

Overall an great experience. Property was excellently located and very clean and well equipped. Only downside was the combo washer / dryer machine in unit - the dryer portion was non-functional but that was not clearly marked. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful historic home with an incredible view of Loch Ness. The restaurant has a Michelin star. Delicious dinner and breakfasts.
