Really enjoyed this hotel! Great for family’s or groups. We had a family wedding and I forgot to bring a light up travel mirror for getting ready. But there was a big mirror in hallway we where all able to use. Very nice and roof top bar was a plus with such friendly bar tenders. We will be back!

We did enjoy our stay. The washer and dryer was a plus. Beds were soft. Living area clean. Coffee pot avaiable, so bring your own coffee. We would stay here again. A little pricey in general, but with that being said, I believe we got more for our our money compared to other hotels in the same area that were even more expensive than Ironworks. Public parking was 30 dollars a day, instead of 45 dollars a day at the other hotels. Ironworks coffeehouse coffee was delicious. The location from the convention center was an easy 6 min. walk. Check in and check out simple. We walked to the church, Burbon street, and the dock for a dinner cruise and to the coffee house serving New Orleans famous benignets;all on the Riverwalk. So, it was a great location. My husband and I were happy with our stay.

A Love Letter to Hotel New Orleans There are hotels you simply stay in, and then there are hotels that become part of the story. Hotel New Orleans belongs firmly in the latter category. From the moment you step inside, there is an unmistakable sense of place. It feels less like checking into a hotel and more like stepping into a beautifully preserved chapter of the city itself. The architecture and design strike a remarkable balance between sophistication and soul. Nothing feels sterile or overly polished. Instead, there is texture, character, and a sense that the building has stories of its own. The details invite you to slow down and actually look around. And that is perhaps what I appreciated most. Hotel New Orleans doesn’t simply accommodate you. It gives you an atmosphere to inhabit. After spending time wandering through the city, returning to the hotel felt like stepping back into a quieter world. There is something wonderfully cinematic about it, especially in the evening when New Orleans begins to take on that particular glow that makes the city feel almost dreamlike. The experience is elevated by the hospitality. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever making the experience feel formal or forced. Those little moments of thoughtful service are what transform a beautiful property very memorable.

Staff was amazing!!!! 1st room assigned: was on the top floor, narrow staircase can't fit if your over 5 1/2 ft, room does get below 70° and that's at midnight. 3rd room assigned: bed was built. 2nd room assigned: room was used but was the only room available. Made our own bed and was told we would be the first room to be cleaned at 8am. Left the room at 745am and couldn't get in until 1030. Bathroom wasn't cleaned as all the same balls of hair were still in the tub. So cleaned the bathroom ourselves too. The tub also did not drain.
