Beautiful city and great location. Nice quaint hotel. Able to use city buses to downtown area. Finding parking could be an issue depending on the time of day.

The resort as a whole was excellent. We loved the restaurants and the pool. The staff was wonderful! Very clean! We surged for a penthouse to enjoy the stars with the ceiling shades that retract but sadly less than half of them worked. Other than that it’s was a great stay!

Bed was comfortable. Bathroom spacious enough. Terrace is nice for relaxing.

Great hotel BUT........ They are very proud about their location. The swimming pool is in a fabulous location but the huge hedges all around obscure what could be a glorious view. The garden bar is great with good staff but again the view is obscured by hedges. The terrace restaurant is fabulous but again with the view obscured. I don't understand why the management have willingly destroyed the hotel's greatest asset. Please explain.

Our 3 kids enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was excellent. It was also very handy having the option to reserve your bakery order for pickup each morning along with take out pizzas. Very comfortable 3 nights and the town of Ascona was lovely

Very Clean property. Very clean room and bedroom. Staff went over and beyond expectations when we arrived at our room which wasn’t set up for the four of us yet. Very friendly gentleman took care of us. 😊 My only complaint is that we stayed there during a heat wave and there was no air conditioning. Not really a complaint but mostly an observation. It was a hot and stagnant place to sleep. We ended up buying a fan for the room and leaving all the windows open which kind of left us exposed to the common balcony area but the other guests kindly ignored us in the morning. I found it to be a good deal as everything else in the area was way more expensive.
