everything was great with the hotel. the only negative thing is the parking. there is absolutely no parking for the guests. the only place to park is on the street. this is like a 12 story hotel. hundreds, if not thousands, of guests and you park on unsecured streets around downtown hot springs, wherever you can find one.

Although it is a good attempt to update an old motel right on the lake it is done on the cheap. They lack amenities that should be included for an accommodation at this price point. Broken outdoor chairs, lumpy and uncomfortable double beds, discarded fishing line laying about, goose poop everywhere. It needs more attention and upgrades to warrant the $150+ per night rates. I would not recommend.

Home away from home house in a beautiful wooded area. Comforting home with chickens and deer nearby, for a relaxing time visiting with family.

No management on site. Phone number was on the office door- you called and you were texted the code to get into your room. Rooms were shabby but the bathroom was remodeled. Marks all over the walls where suitcases had probably been rammed into them. Lamp shades dirty and with tears in the shades. Walls very thin- could hear everything going on in the room next to me along with their dog crying when they obviously left it in the room alone. One air conditioner in the "suite" which blew forcefully and directly onto the bed. Couldn't turn it down and no onsite person, so I slept without air and it was really hot. The pictures made it look like a cute old school motel but just really old and shabby. Not sure where the exellent ratings came from.

Inside was a surprise for cleanliness give. The outside looked not so great. The view from room and balcony was awesome. We would definitely consider staying again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! The lake view was beautiful, and the easy access with steps leading down to the lake made it even better. The cottage was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and cookware—everything we needed was provided except for a blender. The only downside was the sleeping arrangement. The cottage was advertised to accommodate six people, but it only had two queen beds and one sofa instead of a proper third bed or sofa bed, which made it a little less comfortable for our group. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this cottage for its cleanliness, location, and amazing lake views.

Only thing that would have made it better was coffee in the kitchen.
