We throughly enjoyed our brief stay at The Book Nook Inn! David & Stacy were exceptional and very attentive and accommodating. I only hope we have another opportunity to return and stay longer so we can really enjoy the experience.

Clean and quiet place to stay in, perfect for out of town plant / refinery workers. Only reason I gave it a 4 / 5 stars was because the toilet had a small leak.

Room was very clean and huge. I’m wheelchair bound so there was plenty of room and then some. The roll in shower was great but the shower chair was slanted and I almost slid off of it and could’ve been a horrible incident. Beds were a good height, easy to transfer in and out of. The Grand Hotel Spindletop
Rooms were clean, staff was friendly. The property itself needs ALOT of work & updates. Quite the eyesore outside. Building is falling apart. Tiles are off on the elevators. Very impressed with how they have signs on the plants outside that says do not touch. But they're plastic plants not real.
