Good for a weekend stay room was clean and it was quiet. Pool was nice to cool off in.

Clean rooms. Staff was amazing.

Check-in was easy, the caretaker was right there to hand over the key, and gave us a brief history of the plantation, which has been around since the 1820s! The air conditioning worked very well and that's a blessing since we visited in August. Husband and I explored and walked the property more than once, trying to imagine it in its different eras. My only issue was the breakfast sandwich in the freezer, which was a solid block of ice. Maybe, put the sandwiches in the freezer the day before guests arrive...

We were told the pool was open. Changed clothes went down to pool and it was Closed. No Morning Breakfast at all. Lobby has no air conditioning. Property has gone down tremendously. Will Not stay here again.

If you are ever in Pineville, Louisiana this is the hotel I would recommend you stay. I was there for only one evening, but found everything in good order when it comes to a place to stay away from home. Good job guys!
