Mason Vacation Packages

We were given a room on the lower level which is where they put guests with pets even though we didn’t have any animals. The room was clean enough but did have an odd smell. Being that it was on a lower level the room had a small patio entrance but the interior of the building felt like a parking garage. The entrance to parking lot itself was also very strange as well

Room was clean but overall just okay, not impressed with bed or room decor. Definitely needs an upgrade. Casino was a complete waste of money with hardly any payouts.

The host was unfriendly and targeting. After receiving paid confirmation, the host called and inquired on the reason for stay and adamantly referred to the community as “protected” with closely monitored noise ordinances. Mind you, the apartment is directly across for the stadium. The area is riddled with the homeless population. Another conversation centered around “no parties” allowed and strict guest limits. At no time did we discuss or suggest we were having a get together and our reservation was a party of 2 with a 6 party posted limit. We had to contact customer service because the host encouraged us to cancel via the app due not being a “good fit” for this protected community. I would be mindful of hosts who charge outrageous security deposits for short stays. I would not recommend this property. There are other great places nearby and more friendly who offer more amenities.

Like other LaQuinta hotels we’ve stayed at the maintenance is inconsistent. It’s hit or miss. For 1 night it will do. Don’t expect much, other than it’s decent place to sleep. Not winning any great service awards.

All was as expected and the check in was easy.
