I booked three rooms through Expedia. At check-in, the very rude staff refused to accept the $100 security deposit from me. They insisted that the payment had to come from each individual guest. My 60 year old sister in-law doesn't like using credit cards, and the staff reacted with great arrogance, insisting that she had to make the payment herself. A horrible and regrettable situation. Very clean room with nice cold a.c. Only problem they had no ice machine and in south Texas it is hot. Also wanted deposit for everything, remote for t.v. and others. Lady in front t was bit rude but otherwise ok stay

Very old and dated building and interior. Musty smell throughout and very loud, but functional air conditioner. May be fine for one night, but multiple nights not recommended. It seems this is a main hotel for local construction-type workers.
