I would only stay here again if I had no other option. and when I say no other option I mean the best Western better be sold out along with motel 6. this super expensive room had nothing to make it anything other than a second rate room in a five star shell. the floors were dirty. the bed squeaked terribly. this room was way overpriced. it was just not worth what I paid for it. if you can, avoid this hotel and opt for a better one. it wouldn't take much.

We stayed at the Sylvan Park Boarding House in Nashville this weekend, and y’all…what a find! First of all, the location. We loved Sylvan Park. So many great restaurants nearby, sidewalks and bike lanes, mature trees, green space—it felt like an actual neighborhood instead of just a place tourists sleep between trips downtown. We could walk out the door and go somewhere good to eat, then come back and sit on the big front porch for a while, which we did. Several times. And the boarding house itself was SO nice. The bedding felt luxurious, the shower was huge, the towels were thick and plush, and we had a mini fridge in our room. The dining room stayed stocked with snacks and drinks for guests throughout the day, which was such a nice little touch. But let's talk about breakfast. We expected "breakfast included." We did not expect BREAKFAST. It was so much better than we anticipated and just added to the whole experience. I think what I loved most was that it didn't really feel like staying at a hotel. It felt a little more like staying in a beautiful old Nashville house where somebody had thought through all the things that would make you comfortable and then left you alone to enjoy them. We spent more time than I expected sitting on that porch, watching people walk and bike through the neighborhood and just enjoying being there. Definitely one of those places that becomes part of the trip instead of just where you sleep at night.

Gorgeous, landmark hotel. Everything about this place is outstanding from greeting at the door, valet, front desk and beautiful rooms. I do believe they sent their hallways like fresh baked cookies. I highly recommend it!

Awesome locale !! Walking distance for the show venue and our Dinner reservations !! Restaurants and Bars on location as well !! Awesome and Super friendly Staff !

Great location but unfortunately the sound proofing in the rooms are not great. I could hear the music from Coyote Ugly thumping in my room. WiFi was cutting on and off. There was no hand soap available. The coffee bar was a great touch and was appreciated. Overall, it was a middle of a row experience for me.
