Melton Mowbray Vacation Packages

My wife and I have stayed here on several occasions in recent years and have been treated well and at a fair price. Our room including bathroom was, as ever, a reasonable size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good and served with good humour by the owner. The hotel is well-positioned for travel in the area and I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

This 3 star hotel needs to up its game - I found the staff are really helpful but lack leadership as some went missing at times and people were left waiting for service. That said one young blonde haired lady was very attentive and efficient when serving myself - overall the food was good at dinner and breakfast. Whilst the bedroom (recently refurbished) was very well laid out and clean. The room was also let down by no tv remote and the electrics seemed ‘variable’

Can’t recommend, sadly. Paid 193 for a room badly in need of renovation, smelt of smoke/ damp, bathroom seals all gone, window dirty and not really openable-shame as staff were nice, and it’s a great location Contacted hotel after our stay re these issues but they didn’t reply.
