This hotel has some potential but needs a lot of work. No one was on site to help with check in when we arrived, there was a group of us that ended up waiting almost 3 hours and had to call the non emergency police line for help. We weren’t able to check in until almost 2 am. Once we got in the room the bathroom flooded any time the shower was on longer than a minute. Only 1 of the elevators worked for 3 out of our 4 days. There was construction on half of the 5th floor which we had to walk through since only the elevator on that hall worked. On the last night we noticed a colony of ants in our room and had to get switched. The only redeeming thing was the man who works at the front desk who was the only non housekeeping employee we saw during our stay.

Great stay at CANVAS Hotel Dallas! The hotel has a modern and unique atmosphere, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooftop is definitely a highlight, with an amazing view of the Dallas skyline and a great atmosphere. The location is also very convenient for exploring Downtown Dallas. Overall, I had a very good experience and would definitely recommend this hotel!

If you are going to a concert at Dickie’s Arena this is the best place to stay. guests get free beer, wine and champagne at the hotel bar and it is a three minute walk. The rooms were simple but clean and it felt like a safe well area of town.

Bed was super uncomfortable in the king suite. Stains on the couches.

It was a great stay. Everything went smoothly. I would book there again.
