The entire hotel was boiling hot to include the room we were staying in. The hotel even gave me reservation away even though I paid for my room. Never staying there again !!!

Building was falling apart, elevator was sketchy, had to get our towels and toilet paper, and room had cockroaches. Staff took info, but was dismissive and wouldn’t provide managements info. Will never recommend or stay again.

The young woman (at the front desk) who checked me in was very kind, friendly and efficient. She did a great job with customer service. I truly appreciate that. I'm terribly sorry to report that the hotel as a whole was AWFUL!! :( My room was filthy. It smelled like stinky feet with cheap cologne in the air trying to mask the bad odor. The bed was uncomfortable. Everything around was dirty and old. To top it off, it was in a sketchy neighborhood. I would NEVER stay at this place again... NOR recommend it to ANYONE. I feel bad to say all of this because I love giving good reviews. I cannot on this one. :(

Microtel is one of the only 2 hotels we stay when we go to visit our daughter at Texas Tech. Clean rooms and hotel has 24 hour surveillance. Highly recommended
