Dans l’ensemble, tout était parfait et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le seul petit bémol concerne l’arrivée avant 15 h : même si la chambre est déjà prête, des frais de 25 £ sont demandés pour pouvoir en prendre possession plus tôt. C’est un détail que nous avons trouvé vraiment décevant.

El hotel es muy céntrico, puedes ir caminando a todos lados. Es muy bonito. No tiene aire acondicionado pero no hizo falta porque el clima era muy agradable. Excelente trato . Pudimos ir caminando a las atracciones de Jane Austin e incluso el hotel queda justo al lado del tren y las buses. Es económico. Entiendo que fue la mejor opción de todo mi viaje.

I requested that my room was cleaned yesterday morning (Sunday) I left the door label and also spoke to the cleaner who was on my floor. I returned yesterday afternoon after a long walk and noticed the room had not been cleaned, spoke to someone on the reception team to advise this & also requested new towel, coffee milk & toilet roll & was told this would be sent up to my room. I waited 1.5 hours for the above items before going to reception to enquire again. The same man (glasses & moustache) at reception handed me two towels (pool towels & not even room towels) which I did not take as I waited so long that I decided to use the pool. He said and said he was yet to arrange the coffee etc. He barked at me - asking for my room number at which point I said don’t bother & told him he was bloody rude! I then spoke to a lovely lady at reception who wanted me to talk to said man, I told her I didn’t want to speak to him as he was rude & that his customer service manner was appalling She aaaured me that she would speak to him and would get the items I requested sent to my room but they wouldn’t be able to clean my room or change the sheets. I paid £360 to stay for three nights and whilst the first night was okay - the way I was spoken to as a paying guest, the lack of attention to detail and failure to have the basic needs met (ie a clean room) has left me very disappointed in the Village Hotel chain. I request some compensation! Thank you

Nice, quiet location with ample parking. Room could have done with a little TLC but was very comfortable. Food choice was excellent and well cooked. One thing to note was the very poor 5G signal in the area and no wi-fi offered at the location which made it hard for me to work.
