It was a good stay

It is a lovely hotel as far as the rooms and the decor. It’s clean. It’s comfortable. But it is some of the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered especially at a hotel that’s supposed to be higher caliber. And the food in the restaurant was almost inedible for dinner. But the staff and how they treated customers really made it a negative experience. We will not be back.

Had a great time

The entire building looked like it was abandoned. No signage in the building. The entire first floor was under construction. Can’t use the exits anywhere except the front entrance. No parking out front because it is roped off for the workers to do their work of painting in the building. There are no doors on the back of the building where we are all forced to park, in between construction trucks and dumpsters. Tried to use the laundry room and there were clothes in the washer that were done and the dryer that were done. Had been in there for a while. Only one washer and one dryer. $4 to wash. $4 to dry. I took the clothes out of the washer to wash my clothes. Then came back when the clothes were done. Placed my clothes in the dryer that was still sitting there with clothes in it from someone else. Took the clothes out and placed them on the counter. Placed my clothes in the dryer. Again. No one around for over an hour. Came back down when the dryer was scheduled to be done and my clothes were on the counter and the clothes that had been sitting down there were in the dryer. Went to the front desk. It was the clothes form construction workers who are staying on site and were not monitoring their clothes in the one washer for the whole facility. Got my money back from the front desk for my dryer. But under no circumstances, ever come here! It is horrible! Gym was closed as well! Nothing being done in the gym. Just working down the hall so it was blocked off

After what could have been an uncomfortable and disaster of a stay at a neighboring hotel, my family and I went to the DoubleTree to see of their availability. We had just drove from Iowa, exhausted, overwhelmed and happened to have a 9 month infant who was not only past bedtime but hungry. Immediately, I was greeted by Cameron who could notice I was a little stressed and offered her assistance. Not only did she say she was going to ensure I had a much better experience, but she just made some fresh cookies too for us to have (side note: they were delicious!). She made checking in so incredibly easy and quick, but also ensured that not only my family and I were going to be taken care of, but my best friend who was also in route. Additionally, I just have to mention that during the check-in process I had to step out to talk to my Husband and when I came back to finalize everything - Cameron not only asked me if I needed a pack n play with fresh sheets, but when I told her we had our own because the neighboring hotel didn’t offer one, she informed me she actually already had one ready to go for me just in case! Upon getting to the room, you could smell the clean! The bed and pillows were so comfortable, there were plenty of towels for all 3 of us and it was awesome to see the TV personalized to welcome myself and my family! During our stay we had nothing but great experiences with the staff. The hotel was very beautiful and full of amenities. I would recommend this hotel!

I have stayed there for years. The clerk was very helpful and accommodating. I just wish they had biscuits and gravy for a breakfast option. Better room freshener. I would recommend this hotel for the price.
