You get what you pay for usually but this time was a pleasant surprise as my stay at Sonesta was very nice! I have no complaints. Was it the cleanest place I've stayed? No, could use a deep clean, esp. between mattress and head board, vacuum behind/under tables, etc. But it's definitely not gross by any means. There is a musty smell in some parts of floor 3 and areas needing reno but they are remediating the issue. Before bringing my stuff into any hotel room, I check everywhere for bugs, or signs of bugs - I had 2 different rooms this week, both bug free. BLESSED. The beds are very comfortable as well & pillows are great. The front desk staff members have ALL been absolutely great, super friendly and helpful. Jodi especially deserves a shout out for assisting me with my booking mistake when she didn't have to whatsoever. Jodi went above & beyond to make sure my stay wasn't interrupted as I forgot to extend my stay & had to book a larger room for the remainder of the weekend. Instead of making me check out @ 11a & back in @ 3p she took care of me & for that, I THANK YOU Jodi! I'm sure any of the 3 other amazing team members would have done the same as they've all been great.
