The rooms were really good - I love the design. The church bells can be a little loud if you like to sleep with open windows. I didn’t mind it; after an active day in the mountains, I sleep like a rock. The breakfast was so so; we must be spoiled from other hotels before. Location is perfect to start your day trips and the staff was happy to help with that as well. We were able to walk to a little spot just 5min away to take a swim in the lake as well - very convenient.

Parking was right at the hotel. Large rooms with large balconies that gave us a great view of the valley. Staff was very attentive, even had room service. There were two fans we could use as there was no a/c. Unfortunately our neighbors sat on their balcony laughing a drinking till at least midnight so we couldn’t keep our windows open. The room was a bit too warm. Everything was spotless and the breakfast had many different options. Very tasty. We would stay here agin in the future.

Hotel Anker was one of our favorite stays in Switzerland. It's the perfect boutique hotel, combining modern style with a warm, welcoming feel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful view of Mount Pilatus right from our window. Every corner of the hotel feels like a modern art gallery, with unique décor that gives it so much personality. The real standout, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind, welcoming, and eager to help. They even lent us travel adapters, which was such a thoughtful gesture and saved us a trip to the store. Breakfast each morning was fresh, delicious, and the coffee station was a great way to start the day. With comfortable beds, a quiet atmosphere, and an easy walk to the train station and old town, Hotel Anker is everything you could want in a boutique hotel. We'd gladly stay here again.

The staff and amenities were top notch. The only issue we had were the amount of children running around the property, and some of them did not seem to be watched by a parent.

The room was small but well laid out. They put a portable A/C in the room to help with the unusually hot temperatures. Very well located. Excellent breakfast. Staff were helpful and kind. Elevator was tiny but not unusual for old buildings. Would definitely stay again.
