First and foremost: THIS IS NOT A HOTEL. Despite their name being Wyndham HOTEL, they claim they're NOT a hotel when you ask them why no one's coming to the room to make the beds and empty the trash. They say they're a "time share" and they don't have any obligation to provide any cleaning services. The "free breakfast" feels sad compared to what we've had at other hotels. Food quality is very poor. I didn't want to eat it and started driving 10 minutes offsite for edible food. The pools are not on site. You have to drive five minutes to another facility to use them, and indoor pool hours are Noon to 7pm, which is just, awful. We've stayed in a hotel where the pool wasn't open early in the morning and stayed open late. The couch in the room super cheap, probably IKEA, wicked uncomfortable. Absolutely one of worst hotel experiences of our lives. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Its a very nice place, seems like it was updated recently. But those upgrades need maintenance. The master shower faucet isn’t mounted properly so the handle and cover plate move around whenever you use it. There’s a hand towel rack that needs to be remounted because the wall anchors are falling out. There front storm door is falling off the hinges and it doesn’t have pneumatic door closer so its constantly swinging open. And they advertise that there’s a pool but i was never able to access it. Other guests told me they were given a passcode but I never received one. Tried speaking to someone from Avant stay team but no one ever called me back. And there’s no one on site….. no security person at the front, no one in the office building did not see one staff person the entire week. But it was clean and they had decent WiFi.

Our stay was amazing! The check-in process was very easy, the house was clean and very accurate to the listing description. The community location was very private and quiet. The house has everything you need: extra linens, dish soap, laundry detergent, cleaner, pots + pans, cups, etc. The beach was right down the road, and the stay came with 6 complimentary passes to Boulder Lake Club. If you have more than 6 people for your stay, the additional passes are $25/day. There are so many fun games and water activities to do at the beach club! Some negatives: We did have a snafu with security... someone made a complaint that we had too many cars (we had 4). Not really sure how you would have 12 people in a house without having at least 3 cars. My only other complaint would be the mattresses..... most of them were not comfortable at all. Very minor complaints overall, but worth mentioning for future renters! I would love to book a stay in the winter and get to experience all the winter activities and ski lodge. Great stay for the price and great location!
