Pass Christian Vacation Packages

We were excited to go on a lil vacation, the staff were nice and helpful. Jennifer was the at the front desk. So sweet and helpful. We didn’t like the smell of cigarettes smoke throughout the lobby, restaurants, restrooms, and other parts of the hotel. Our room wasn’t that clean, it did have clean towels we thought, but one was rolled up and smelled like men’s cologne. The beds were made in a really big hurry. My sheet’s was halfway on the bed and the pillows were nothing I’ve ever seen before. One was normal and two look like they were trying to make a football out of them. And that was on both of our beds. We were willing to deal with that and stay. We went vintage shopping, which was nice and then came back to the hotel to eat at a restaurant upstairs, It was a steakhouse. Against my judgment, I ordered what the waitress said was really good. A shrimp and chicken with Boudin sausage pasta with some white sauce. When it came to the table, it looked OK my friend and I both ate a bite out of the pasta and I bit into a shrimp that was raw and the pasta tasted horrible. Not long after tasting it we told our waitress it didn’t taste good and she took it away. My friend wasn’t feeling and she rushed into the restroom. Then I started feeling queasy and had stomach issues. This was our first day on our vacation and at 3 o’clock in the afternoon we spent the next four hours in our room sick as you can imagine. By 7:00 PM we checked out and went home. I will not stay there ever again

Loved the place the only down side to it was you could hear the people walking upstairs sometimes

Room was beautiful and clean. Lazy River and Waterpark were great. Staff was excellent. The Mini Golf was surprisingly one of our favorite parts of the weekend. And we didn’t have kids with us. Great girls weekend.

It was so much fun staying at Gil’s with my family! We enjoyed the dock and water! We fished and walked around! It was beautiful and so much fun!

Conveniently located 1970s motel. Calling it a resort is quite a stretch. Lots of money spent on remodeling the lobby, sadly that's where it stopped. Rooms were mediocre at best. Dressing mirror was sitting on the floor, which required my wife to sit on the floor to fix her hair and put on her makeup. Lighting was miserable throughout the room. Sink had a large crack from top to bottom that had been repaired with silicone. Wall unit air conditioning was old and tired and struggled to cool the room. Parking is a problem requiring you to carry your luggage up multiple flights of stairs. The pool is nice. The 'water view' is technically correct, but you have to go to the far end of the second floor to see water a quarter mile away. Staff was a mixed bag with one extremely nice helpful person and one not so helpful. Maid service was terrible. They made the beds, but didn't empty trash cans, left 5 sheets of toilet paper on the roll and didn't put out a new one. They didn't refill the 'amenities' which consisted of coffee pods for the Keurig and packaged creamer. I'm assuming the advertised bar and restaurant is at the municipal golf course across the street. Whoever their photographer is is a genius.
