The lobby was the most updated part of the hotel. Once you got to the rooms it was more akin to a motel than a hotel. The hotel either had updates that didn’t make sense for a hotel or the look was super outdated. I questioned its four star status. Felt more like a three star. The staff was awesome and made the best out of the circumstances of the hotel. My first night it was obvious that the room hadn’t been deep cleaned in a while. I spoke to the staff the next day and they made sure to clean and it was noticeable. The cafe and restaurant are convenient and the staff there were awesome. I hated that it wasn’t clear at booking that fees would be charged for late check out. Unusual for hotels. I understand if there are no rooms available but as a policy doesn’t make sense. Other than that located at convenient location and minutes from most downtown attractions.
