Well presented period property, tons of character, situated on the River Avon. 20 mins level walk through the water meadows right into the centre of Salisbury, lovely quiet location. On site restaurant, good selection of real ales, limited parking on site. Rooms are clean, comfortable beds and lovely en-suite facilities. Staff are friendly and have good local knowledge. Will definitely stay here again.

We used this location to visit Stonehenge as well as the Old Harry Rocks/Dorset Coast in general. It was also convenient and easy to sneak a day trip into Bath from this spot. It was perfect for our longer days, coming back to a clean apartment with all the amenities to cook our own meals. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. On site parking is available for £5 per day or if you arrive by train it’s a mere 100 meters to the station. If you arrive by train, the location is very walkable to grocery stores and local attractions (Salisbury Cathedral). Staff were super responsive in the Expedia chat and very friendly. It’s a self check in / check out, with staff on site in case you experience any issues. The fridge/table was also stocked with complimentary breakfast items which was a nice touch. There is a full laundry room, again stocked with laundry detergent, stain remover, etc. Would absolutely recommend staying here and if I am ever back in the area, I would stay here again myself.

Great location between Bristol Temple Meads railway station and the city centre. Very helpful reception staff.

The room was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located.

Overall the hotel was smart. Unfortunately it is opposite bars and a nightclub and my room was very noisy until after 3.30am. There was also karaoke going on late into the night. I was disappointed with the shower, it ran cold for a very long time and was a basic fitting. The bathroom was also pretty tatty for the price I paid for the room. A premier inn would have been smarter with more facilities and likely quieter.
