While we didn't think this would be like a room at the Holiday Inn, we weren't prepared for the cute little room we got. The rooms are what used to be a RR station and have been upfitted with enough modern conveniences that you won't be disappointed - surprised, but not disappointed. Our room (and I assume the others are like this) was filled with gadgets, devices, and appliances that were vintage for the time the RR was operating and stopped there (think early 1900's). It was fun to try and figure out what these items were used for back in the day. They have WiFi, a refrigerator, a stove, and a microwave so you're not back in the 1900's yourself. It's an interesting mix of eclectic, nostalgic, and quaint. Very nice!

We loved this property- SO pretty! We stayed in the Vanilla Villa and it was so beautifully done. Rustic cabin with mid century decor, and super cute finishing touches. There is a full kitchen that was super useful especially if you are traveling with kids. With an absolutely stunning panoramic view of the gorgeous lake. Check in was super smooth and Missy was very friendly. They have bocce ball, firepits, swings, a dock, and kayaks. The only reason we deducted a star is because we had a strange occurrence with our front door being opened. We reported to management but haven’t heard back on an explanation. Other than that our stay was very nice and would come back .

For the price it is a good deal.

I’ve stayed here a few times over the years. It never disappoints. The staff are always so helpful and welcoming. The entire property is very pet friendly which I very much appreciate traveling for dog shows. The accommodation were just wonderful I chose a tiny house on the water front this time. It was so relaxing and calming. Exactly what I was in need of it definitely made it hard to leave. Only thing I could recommend would be to remember to bring a towel for your pup. I had forgotten so when an afternoon shower came I found myself running up the road to the store so not to get the white towels all dirty. So just remember a beach towel for your pup and you will be perfect!

The room was beautiful and very well remodeled. Our check in with smooth, however are late arrival. Lead our host to informas that it was a good thing. We arrive before midnight because they canceled all reservations at midnight. Even for no shows that are prepaid.

We absolutely loved our small cabin. It was a beautiful view from the windows and from the hot tub.
