The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room looked as in the description. The bathroom shower area was not the cleanest. It wasn’t down right disgusting, just needed a few touch ups. I would stay here again!

Went through Expedia that charged me $166 and the property charged a room rate with them for $256 on top of $166 I already paid and that wasn't for incidentals that was $100 separate which understand. The staff said they took care of it but it seems as though the re fund is going to take a few days...

Staff was exceptionally efficient and gracious, especially Kevin who somehow remembered our names every day. Beautiful rooms, most excellent snacks. We were only 2 days away from the dining room re-opening after renovation, so we will have to come back!! Thank you!

Great area

I'd never stayed in a setup like this but I found it worked well for my needs! It was less chaotic and offered more space and amenities than a traditional hotel. It was a nice central location in Ann Arbor but was nice and quiet. Anyone coming town for a Michigan game or other campus event would probably be comfortable here.

The hotel could use an update but everything was clean

The customer service was unmeasurable however in the window sills we found old cups with liquids in them, soda cans that were half empty, and the ice bucket was basically used as a trash can. The rooms are a little outdated and could use simple upgrades such as usb plugs in the outlets and more outlets. I would have loved to take a bath in the huge soaker tub but it had a dirty crack in it.

Stayed busy 4th of July weekend. I've stayed here at least 6 times before when it was a Sonder-last time was Oct 2025 before it closed. I know what the standard was before becoming Hotel Houze. I arrived to my room at 10pm - entry way/hall light was extra dim ike a night light, couch cushions visibly dirty and one was pulled out pretty far, tv remove visibly dirty and had tape all along back b/c missing back. When I went to get into bed a few hours later and pulled back the covers my sheets were FILTHY and had debris (not just stains) all along where your legs/feet would go like multiple people got in bed with dirty feet (probably after walking on the filthy floor) and the staff just pulled the covers over it. the pillow cases were make up stained on the backsides. I had to go downstairs, get new sheets AND MAKE MY OWN BED at 2am! There was a dirty saucer in the cabinet and a half empty drink in my fridge. There were NO FORKS in the drawers but all the other cutlery - this room has a kitchen. Room sleeps 4 but I only had 2 sets of towels and when asked for more on day 2 was given a hard, ended up using washer/dryer to wash the towels I had. Floors dirty, sticky, room dusty and small dead bugs kitchen windowsill, bathroom walls dirty and cleanable stains on outside showers edge. Told front desk AND the app on day 1, "deep cleaning" sent day 2 (I saw him there), room looked same when I returned! Told boss Rami - nothing new done. Also lots MORE loiterers outside building now
