Bed was clean and comfortable but it was nothing like advertised online... Needs lots of updates online with pictures.. Room wasn't what I wanted. Jacuzzi room is what I thought I requested.. But its not what I got.. It was a supposed to be a special night..

Room was greatly clean. Check in staff was very helpful. This hotel is so beautiful. I always enjoy my stay over here.

Rooms are nice and clean the staff is great.

No coffee, no free breakfast, no good furniture. Weird hotel.

The Kensington is a nice hotel in a great part of Ann Arbor. Location-wise, you are close to the stadium and within walking distance of Briarwood Mall with restaurants, shopping, and a grocery market. There is also a nice restaurant and bar in the hotel. The lobby and ground floor have nice sitting areas for meeting up or working. Parking and shuttle service to downtown Ann Arbor are also nearby. The rooms are pretty up-to-date—the bathrooms could use a slight update (things were a bit worn). Nice, open rooms with good AC and pretty quiet. And, good value!

Gorgeous room, however we had specifically requested the room with the kitchenette…room does not come with any plates, cutlery, cookware etc. Had to request it twice from the concierge and we had a rusty and greasy pan delivered to us from the kitchen. We didn’t end up using the kitchenette at all because we thought that was quite gross and what we were paying for the hotel it just didn’t add up. Second, having a blow dryer without a diffuser and a budget hairdryer at that …again for such an expensive hotel was really disappointing. HOWEVER despite all of this, the staff and room itself was very nice and clean. They also had a guest snack and beverage bar on each of the floors which was provided for free. I think The Daxton would benefit from paying attention to the little things to make the guest experience that much better. PS we loved the bikes!

Breakfast was subpar. No full room service on weekends which isn’t stated anywhere on the website.
