Single night stay at this hotel as part of a roadtrip. We arrived early at 1pm but rooms weren't available until 3pm so we popped over to the West Virginia State Capital Building in Charleston which is well worth a visit. Upon our return we were served by the wonderful Michaela on the reception desk. She was polite, very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The room was spacious and quiet with cool aircon and comfy beds. Up early for breakfast which was varied and tasty with the best coffee of our trip so far.

This was our elopement and this room was really cool with a wrap around bookshelf, minimal decoration and no full kitchen… and follow directions they give when booking to get in the parking lot behind

Room was clean, nice remodeled bathroom, comfy bed and the pillows were just right. So comfortable that I slept in until 8:30am - I can't remember the last time I slept that late!

Location is fantastic.has lots of setting areas inside and out. The overall place needs some serious attention! There was an empty bottle in our room on the floor. TV was cracked at the base and the room phone couldn’t even be used. The elderly man working the front desk in the morning was just not nice or polite. The outside sitting areas need better maintenance.
