Older but quaint, clean, excellent staff

l’hôtel- appartement est super! Un peu difficile à trouver mais très propre. Si vous êtes sensible au bruit extérieur ce n’est peut-être pas l’endroit idéal pour séjourner. C’est bruyant!

Lovely stay at the Hotel Bonaventure. Staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms and hotel layout is beautiful. Gardens and lobby area are pretty and relaxing. Pool was nice as well. Lobby is located on 10th floor and access is by the elevator just past entrance. A tad confusing the first time around. Parking is very nice and the entrance is located just past the entrance. Very bright and clean with easy elevator to hotel. Bonaventure Metro across the street along with Marie-Reine du Mond. 10-15 minute walk to Vieux Montreal, 5 minute walk to Bell Center. Jean Talon market is a 15 minute metro ride with no transfers (orange line). My only issue is that the shower took quite some time to heat up. Not surprising for 10th floor, but a tad annoying. Room was very clean and spacious. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely place in the heart of all the nightlife would do again

The staff were wonderful.

This apartment was absolutely beautiful! The space was huge, nicely appointed and was comfortable, secure, clean and quiet. The location was convenient to everywhere. Communication with the host was fast and all information was helpful and timely. Would definitely recommend!!

This doesn’t look like a hotel AT ALL I arrived at night, the building is not well lit. There is no reception—just not a good feeling on arrival. Took some getting used to. Everything about the actual room was nice, they have locks on the Netflix to their own accounts, the floor makes your feet black. Location is great.

After paying for the most expensive room with a kitchenette, I arrived to be told that the hotel was out of kettles, a key requirement for my room that I confirmed prior to arrival. Instead of having a sympathetic response from the person at the front desk, Ingrid, I was repeatedly and aggressively asked "what she expected me to do about this." Her hostility was evident and when I asked for some hot water to be brought to my room (to take required medications) she begrudgingly did and when I asked if I could phone in the morning, she begrudgingly agreed. At 6am the next morning, I was awoken to a knock at my door with a porter bringing hot water to me, even though not yet requested. This passive aggressive behaviour that woke me from sleep and disrupted my entire work day was not appreciated. The hotel was well located but is worn down, with fading and chipped paint and a general sense of disrepair. For the cost, there are other hotels of far higher caliber and superior service. I am yet to receive any compensation for not receiving the services I paid for upon arrival. Do not recommend.
