Beautiful place, excellent location, great stay!

Rooms are all quite different, so our room was different from photos we had at booking which showed a freestanding bathtub. Paid many hundreds of dollars for an upgrade, but it was worse, by noisy construction. Staff made it right though and were accommodating.

The space is modern and clean and very minimalist. But to the point of lack of warmth and comfort. Pillows and mattresses were amongst the worst we’ve slept on. The bathrooms and kitchen were well equipped. Very handy to have a washer dryer. Great location. Knocked off point for overall value because it just wasn’t that comfortable. In the time that you do spend in your quarters during travel, comfort is key. And with lack of amenities probably overpriced but for old Quebec reasonable value.

Bring your slippers or thick warm socks in cool and cold weather since there is no carpeting on the floors. Apartment is located in the old Quebec City in nice central location in the old city. Access to drop off luggage at apartment can be limited due to street construction activity in the area. Google maps are incorrect due to streets that are no longer open to vehicles. 24 hour parking lot is located on main drag about 5 blocks away. For this apartment check-in and documentation is submitted electronically online at website link sent by vendor. They will e-mail access code on day of check-in since there is no front desk. There is also a buzzer at entrance to apartment that can be used to communicate if you have issue upon arrival. Plenty of local restaurants in the area. Grocery stores and pharmacies are a bit of a walk from the apartment so bring a backpack or reusable shopping bags.

From the moment you enter the blue door , you are warmly greeted. The scents of the hotel are so wonderful . The staff and concierge are very helpful. Our room was gorgeous and so clean.. What a comfortable bed! The a/c kept the room perfectly cool! The bathroom was very luxurious , right down to the soaps and shampoos. The restaurant’s breakfast was a great way to start the day. It had an amazing assortment of fruits, eggs, pastries, cheeses, meats, bread etc. I adored the restaurant . We had top notch drinks in the evening and attentive service for breakfast. I hated to leave and can’t wait to come back to visit Monsieur Jean!
