Excellent location. The staff was amazing! Having staff offer a cappuccino at the end of a day exploring Old Quebec was so thoughtful. The breakfast,while, limited in options (protein bar, apple, yogurt, coffee), provided enough energy to make it to lunch. The atmosphere in the hotel was pleasantly modern, sparse and moody; however, the lighting in the room was terrible. The room was painted black so the dim lights made everything ever darker. It was impossible to see in the bathroom and the light in the shower aimed right at our eyes when accessing the soap and shampoo. A lighted mirror was provided to compensate. There was also no desk and only a 36” table and 2 chairs (no sofa) and the TV was not visible from the bed. Clearly the designer was not a woman!

I loved the modernity of the Hotel furnishings. It was a new experience not having hotel front staff but worked out just fine for our short stay in the city. Texting with the staff for cleaning needs was useful and easy. For those who don’t mind a non-traditional stay and a boutique feel, this is a great pick near to but removed from the bustle of the Old Town. I would stay here again when I visit the city! Merci!

The property is old. The stairs are steep narrow and slanted and difficult to go up with luggage. I was on the third floor(attic) and the floors were uneven. The sheets were polyester at best. There was no soundproofing between rooms and I could hear the people next-door talking and snoring very loudly. The bathtub was extremely small. The temperature of the water was hard to maintain, and it was very difficult to turn the water off for the shower. (no conditioner provided). The toilet was worn. There was no staff on site except for cleaners as we arrived and left. Myself and others had to wait on the street while cleaners finished cleaning our room so that we could check in early. The other people were from the United States and had difficulty connecting with staff. I was able to connect by phone with my Canadian line.

The staff were super friendly and went above and beyond

Le loft était très propre incluant la literie toutefois à notre arrivée le spa était pratiquement vide et cerné. Toute une surprise… J’ai contacté la réception, la personne était confuse sur la situation, une personne a été dépêché, pas de solution. Un technicien de la maintenance a été dépêché, il n’avait d’info donc on a convenu de remplir le spa et attendre qu’il atteigne un température acceptable soit entre minuit et 2h00 (nuit). Pas fameux quand on quitte à 11h

Location in Old Town was very convenient. The room was large and comfortable, breakfast buffet was great for someone like me who is avoiding carbs (though the pastries looked good), and jazz in the bar was fun. Really enjoyed our stay.
