The hallways and rooms are in desperate need of updating. The pillows were so large we couldn’t even use them. The pool bar was closed and we had to go all the way into the casino just to get water.

Loved the place the only down side to it was you could hear the people walking upstairs sometimes

Room was beautiful and clean. Lazy River and Waterpark were great. Staff was excellent. The Mini Golf was surprisingly one of our favorite parts of the weekend. And we didn’t have kids with us. Great girls weekend.

It was so much fun staying at Gil’s with my family! We enjoyed the dock and water! We fished and walked around! It was beautiful and so much fun!

Conveniently located 1970s motel. Calling it a resort is quite a stretch. Lots of money spent on remodeling the lobby, sadly that's where it stopped. Rooms were mediocre at best. Dressing mirror was sitting on the floor, which required my wife to sit on the floor to fix her hair and put on her makeup. Lighting was miserable throughout the room. Sink had a large crack from top to bottom that had been repaired with silicone. Wall unit air conditioning was old and tired and struggled to cool the room. Parking is a problem requiring you to carry your luggage up multiple flights of stairs. The pool is nice. The 'water view' is technically correct, but you have to go to the far end of the second floor to see water a quarter mile away. Staff was a mixed bag with one extremely nice helpful person and one not so helpful. Maid service was terrible. They made the beds, but didn't empty trash cans, left 5 sheets of toilet paper on the roll and didn't put out a new one. They didn't refill the 'amenities' which consisted of coffee pods for the Keurig and packaged creamer. I'm assuming the advertised bar and restaurant is at the municipal golf course across the street. Whoever their photographer is is a genius.

If you want all the package, you get that staying here. Top notch. Employees are very professional, helpful and friendly. The Inn is beautiful! The breakfast is excellent. You can order your favorite pancakes with your breakfast. They are great. The whole spread of breakfast is great. Nice pool and nice views of the ocean. Not our first time staying here and won’t be our last.

The property was exactly as described. It was very clean and had plenty of bathroom towels and washcloths. We only stayed one night. There were many kitchen items, pots, pans, cups, plates, bowls, utensils, silverware etc, and a Keurig coffee pot. The only downsides were the train was right behind the house and it was loud during the night and the bed rolled towards the middle. Kinda uncomfortable for two people. It was in a great location and close to everything. Definitely worth for a quick getaway. Overall it was great and would stay again! 8/10
