These are great rooms for families as having what is effectively a small apartment with 2 bedrooms and separate lounge just makes life so easy and so nice to have the space for “stuff”, especially if you have been out and got as muddy and wet as we did.

We stay at the Cluanie Inn quite often as it is a handy stop off before taking the ferry to the Western Isles. It is always excellent. Really friendly and helpful staff, a good menu, especially the Indian food and the rooms are beautifully maintained and a good size, which is great if you have a big Labrador. Midge the Labrador loves the Cluanie Inn. We have stayed at all of the Black Sheep hotels, and I can't speak highly enough of them.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful area but you need to walk 15-20 minutes to the center of town. There is no bus service. The hotel is great for golfers but doesn’t offer many amenities to non- golfers. There is only one restaurant.

Check in requires an app which we were not made aware of booking via Expedia. If it were not for another guest letting us know I don’t know how we would have got in. Calls and messages to Mansley are still unanswered. Expedia and Mansley need to communicate better. Get the Mansley app before going! There is no help on site. Nice apartment with great location.

We LOVED our room & stay here….wish we had booked another couple days. Staff were very nice, accommodating and kind. We were blessed with sun & blue sky…..walk across the road to the golf course and an easy walk to a beautiful beach. The grounds are lovely. They had a wedding party and could not accommodate our having dinner at the hotel BUT the receptionist made a recommendation and booked a nearby dinner for us which was very good 🙂 If we get back over the pond we would stay here again & for longer

I would look to avoid this hotel on a future visit. It is run down and fallen into the hands of an owner who is clearly skimping on costs. Understaffed with a poor food and beverage service. Food was served lukewarm and the lines need cleaning with the beer tasting off. Staff appeared to be provided with little support from management.
